1. What Test Reaction provides

Test Reaction provides a free online reaction time test and informational guides about reaction time, training, and gaming performance. The service is provided “as is”, without any guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. We may update, change, or remove content at any time without notice. It does not require an account.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use the site lawfully and fairly. In particular, you agree not to:

No unauthorised access

Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its hosting.

No falsified results

Do not interfere with the test, or submit automated or falsified results. Do not try to manipulate timing, scores, or any future leaderboard.

No copying as your own

Do not copy substantial portions of the guides or design and present them as your own work. Do not scrape the site in a way that harms its performance for others.

No harmful decisions

Do not use the site for any purpose that could harm others. That includes medical, driving, employment, or safety decisions based solely on a test result.

You may link to Test Reaction and share your own result, for example by copying the result text the tool provides. You may quote short passages with attribution, as permitted by applicable law.

3. Test results are not medical or professional advice

A browser reaction time test measures a response to a visual signal on your own device. It includes delay from your monitor, mouse or touchscreen, and browser, and it is affected by sleep, attention, and setup. Results are for general information and entertainment only, not a medical test or diagnosis. See the Disclaimer for the full statement.

4. Accuracy and research descriptions

Guides describe published research in general, approximate terms, because exact reaction-time values vary with task, participant, and equipment. Rating bands on this site are a practical guide for a browser click test, not a laboratory standard and not a claim about a global user database. No guide guarantees an improvement in reaction time, gaming rank, sporting performance, or health.

5. Your data

Test results you complete are saved only in your own browser's local storage, on your own device, unless you clear that data. Test Reaction does not collect your name or account details through the test, and does not sell personal data. See the Privacy Policy for details.

6. Intellectual property

The text, design, and code of Test Reaction are owned by Test Reaction or licensed for its use, except where research sources or general facts are cited. You may not reproduce the site's branding or present a copy of the site as if it were Test Reaction. Trademarks or product names mentioned in guides belong to their respective owners and are mentioned only descriptively.

7. Third-party links and future services

Guides may mention published studies or general resources. Test Reaction is not responsible for the content, availability, or privacy practices of external sites. Test Reaction does not currently use advertising or analytics.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Test Reaction is not liable for any loss or damage from using the test or guides. That includes any decision made in reliance on a test result. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The version posted on this page is the current version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent through the Contact page. Please do not include sensitive personal information in any message.
